Students undertaking the study of Circus will experience, understand, value and appreciate Circus as an art form through the integrated study of Performance, Composition and Appreciation.

Circus Performance consists of technique, body strength, flexibility, co-ordination and the application of safe circus technique to selected aerial apparatus and ground skills.

Circus Composition involves creating and structuring acts to express and communicate ideas and feelings through the use of choreographic devises and elements of movement (space time dynamics and relationships).

Circus Appreciation consists of looking at what makes circus safe and describing and analysing circus as an expression of ideas within a social, historical and cultural context.
